Eight gigs of "Limited Edition Solid GOLD Eloquence," the Pico-C represents the "hallmark of style and quality in USB drives."
People prize it for its beautiful design, according to the marketing literature. Why else would you pay $600 for a Sony MicroVault Tiny you can pick up at Fry's for $25 and get gold-plated for $100 more? Its "amazing qualities," of course!
Verily, it needs a Monex-style television advert, bathed in glowing golden light and shot in the style of late 1970s porn, in which a middle-aged lady murmurs statistics while gently dancing her fingertips over the product.
PSP 3000
Despite Sony's missteps, the Sony PSP is a great system, but in sheer spite of Sony's missteps, hackers are the ones who have made the PSP a great system. Although not as many as there should be for a system of the PSP's maturity, there's some excellent games available, but where the PSP shines is as portable emulation and homebrew device, and for that, Sony has less part than ever, consistently fighting against the same hackers and programmers who — if embraced — might have given Sony the leg up over the Nintendo DS.
So no shocks here: the recent release of the PSP-3000, aka the PSP Brite, is looking pretty hacker proof, with all its previous kernel holes patched up, preventing the installation of custom firmware and unsigned code. In particular, famous PSP hacker Dark Alex — who usually can turn around a new custom firmware within hours of an official Sony release — has made no progress worming his way into the PSP-Brite.
And that's ignoring the awful interlacing issue. There's still plenty of reason to buy a PSP, but not a PSP-3000. If you're looking to buy one and get the most out of your system, the PSP Slim or the PSP Phat is the way to go.
Lance Mountain x SB Collection
Following the Stecyk/Lance collaboration, Nike SB will release a second Blazer by Lance Mountain in this month. To drive up support for the upcoming U.S. Presidential Election, taking place next Tuesday, November 4th. NBA stars Kevin Garnett and Trace McGrady will both sport one of the kind Adidas sneakers on the courts that evening, Garnett with the TS Commander and McGrady with the TS Creator. Though both players have not publicly announced the candidate they are voting come election day. From the embroidered messages on the sneakers, it is quite obvious. Both colorways are exclusive for each player and will not be available at retail. Each player will also sing a half pair with a personalized messages that will be sent to Obama. After the successful introduction of Mongolian Shoe BBQ in 2005, and the on-line launch in 2006, PUMA® has recently added the First Round silhouette to the program. With the women’s Air Max 1 & Blazer “Winter Pack” being profiled earlier this month, Nike has made an addition to the set with this high top Terminator. Like the other sneakers of the pack, this shoe takes inspiration from typical ski outfits of the 1980’s. It is made of a combination of premium leather and nylon and features patches of red, light blue, black, and white. These crazy kicks are available now in limited quantities at select Nike retailers including Grip.

YES, to answer all you Jordanheads’ question about whether the above Air Jordan Retro Is are the pair coming out next month. And another YES to the question about whether the strap is removable or not. So all in all, we have some good news for everyone who has been waiting on the release of the Air Jordan I Retro High Strap. The shoe looks almost identical to the last retro of the Air Jordan I in this black/varsity-red colorway that dropped back in 2001.
The only difference is that there is an Air Jordan strap that is located around the ankle, but it looks like if you aren’t feeling this it can be easily removed. There also is a new piece of leather on the back that we haven’t seen on any Air Jordan Is which is a black patch that starts right above the Jumpman and becomes increasingly larger up until the back of the ankle. The shoes also appear to be the same size as the 2001 retro Air Jordan I releases, as opposed to the more recent releases that have been relatively lower cut in the upper. For those of you who have been hunting the 2001 retros but don’t want to drop the cash, look for these to have a limited release to urban accounts and Niketowns on November 28th and have an easier price tag of $110.00. via Kenlu and photos via LUVINTHAGAME on SoleCollector Forums.

We brought you images of the upcoming back/red Air Jordan Is and now we have pictures of the upcoming Air Jordan Retro I High Strap in a brand new colorway. The newest version features a black/white - red colorway that is reminiscent of the original black/white colorway. In 2008, Jordan Brand is giving us a treat by switching up the classic Air Jordan I and basically reversing the OG colorway by making the Swoosh and most of the upper white premium leather with black nubuck on top of the toe-box and the mid section. Adding to the accents of the newly added Air Jordan strap is the red sole which adds some extra freshness to this dope Air Jordan retro release. Look for these to hit Jordan Brand retailers on November 22nd for the price tag of $110.00. These will surely be a great addition to any Jordan-heads’ collection.

After bringing you the two newest upcoming releases of the Air Jordan I Retro High, we have a Retro I Low coming out with similar features. The newest Air Jordan Retro I Low Velcro features some lasering that seems to be inspired by the Air Jordan XX. However, the shoe still stays true to the the Air Jordan I, reminiscent of the Air Jordan I Phat, by featuring an Air Jordan I base with the Air Jordan wings logo on the back. The main features of this shoe are the AJ XX lasering on the middle upper, the Jumpan on the toebox and the white velcro straps. The sole appears to have red stitching with a white/black colorway and teh heel seems to have some nubuck features. Look for these to hit Jordan retailers on November 22nd allong with the two Air Jordan Retro Highs, however these velcroes will have a relatively smaller price tag of $100.

Keeping their California lifestyle theme in tact, Vans drops another set of suede Authentics, pairing the old school skate shoe with an equally impressive material make-up. Three colorways have released including a Wood Trust, Chocolate Truffle and Castro Gray, all of which are now available at DQM.
Aston Martin One-77
Although the automotive business is in a huge slump with failing economies, Aston Martin still finds a way to dig deep into buyers pockets. Announced a couple of months back, the One-77, expecting to possess a 7.3-liter V12 engine pumping out 700+hp, has already been sold out. Details are dim and distribution will not begin until late 2009 but the carbon fibre chassis alongside aluminium body panels has been confirmed along with some new images courtesy of 925.nl after the jump.
